CEO & Board MemberDavid is an Auckland-based property developer, lawyer, governance expert, and Chief Executive Officer of the Abide Charitable Trust Board.
David is a professional property developer with over 20 years of experience in delivering housing and commercial property projects across Auckland. He holds a conjoint Bachelor of Laws and Science from the University of Auckland and practised as a solicitor at Deloitte and Russell McVeagh before transitioning into property development and consultancy.
He has successfully delivered over 700 dwellings — including affordable and public housing — with the largest single project being 74 terraced houses in West Auckland completed in 2023. His commercial and residential portfolio spans property management, development management, legal consultancy and trustee services.
David brings formidable legal expertise in trust, tax, property, commercial and construction law, with 15+ years of in-depth commercial law knowledge. He has been appointed as an expert witness in property and construction cases, and assisted with New Zealand's largest class action suit against James Hardie for defective cladding.
As a governance specialist, David has served over 50 entities in the past 20 years including incorporated societies, family trusts, companies, partnerships, charitable trusts, Christian organisations, whānau trusts and māori authorities. He holds National Certificates and Diplomas (to Level 6) in Tikanga Māori from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, reflecting his deep commitment to bicultural New Zealand.
David is a best-selling author — Invest and Prosper with Property was published by Penguin Random House in 2011. He served as President of the Auckland Property Investors' Association from 2010 to 2014, and holds Life Membership of that organisation. He is a Senior Member of the New Zealand Trustees' Association and a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
He is affiliated with Ngātiwai (Ngāti Rehua Ngātiwai ki Aotea) and Ngāti Porou, and is a committee member of Waitemata Rugby Football Club. He and his wife live in Auckland with their three children.
Together our Board reflects the rich diversity of New Zealand — in faith, ethnicity, professional expertise, and community experience.
Greg is a Local Government expert working in a senior leadership role at Auckland Transport. He brings demonstrated strength in infrastructure, transport and property projects across both the private and public sectors, together with commercial law skills and sophisticated stakeholder management in complex environments.
Greg's professional highlights include serving as Principal Development Advisor for the City Rail Link — New Zealand's largest ever infrastructure project. He has accumulated significant experience with major capital projects including procurement advisory, project control and cost management, and has extensive professional networks across Auckland's regulatory and economic landscape.
A natural leader with strong relationship-building skills, Greg is passionate about community service and giving back. He and his GP wife live in Auckland and are blessed with two children.

She is well regarded within Tainui iwi and serves on the Te Puea Memorial Marae Board of Trustees, as well as managing Te Manukanuka o Hoturoa Marae.
Ngaire brings deep Government and Local Government connections and phenomenal networks within te ao Māori. She brings the wisdom and compassion of a kuia (elder female), together with a strong alignment between her professional life and her faith. Her extensive experience spans operations management and the governance of community housing providers and not-for-profit organisations.
Ngaire is blessed with a number of wonderful tamariki and mokopuna, who are a source of great joy and inspiration to her work in service of community.
Onosai'i is an ordained Anglican Minister and serves as Chaplain and Senior Leadership Team member at King's School, Remuera. Prior to ordination, Onosai'i represented the Blues, Auckland and Counties Manukau in rugby union, and Sale Sharks in the English Premiership. He was a gold medallist with the New Zealand Men's Rugby Sevens team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Beyond his athletic prowess, he led King's School's Jazz Band and is an accomplished musician and vocalist — having recorded a contemporary acoustic worship album.
Onosai'i has served in governance and senior leadership roles for Catholic and Anglican schools, and held multiple roles within his Papatoetoe Rugby Football Club. He is passionate about building the Church through sport and music. He and Amy are blessed with four sons.
